Monitoring

Many projects require noise, dust, surface water or groundwater monitoring. If you are required to conduct such monitoring as a condition of your operational permit, Courter Resource Group can provide these monitoring services.

Our professional geologists have the capabilities to provide baseline measurements for noise, dust, and groundwater (pre- and post-project) as well as conduct quarterly groundwater quality tests or on-going noise and air quality tests.

Many companies and communities weigh the decision of whether to conduct monitoring services themselves. By contracting with a third-party vendor, communities and companies can protect themselves against accusations of impropriety.

Case Study:
In 2005, residents near Fond du Lac (Fond du Lac County, WI) were concerned about the impact a new sand and gravel operation would have on their water supply wells and private ponds. Courter Resource Group installed a well to obtain baseline data and monitor groundwater levels over the life of the project.
