Resource Evaluation/Registration

Our resource evaluation and registration service provides pit and quarry owners/operators, property owners and construction companies with the means to evaluate the geologic potential of a resource. Our geologist can analyze a geologic formation for quality and quantity, helping to evaluate the resource’s market value.

Through the registration process, we communicate the value of the resource to local towns or villages, helping them understand the resource and its potential impact.

When possible, we work with local government agencies to include the resource location in their comprehensive plans. This allows a community to plan for resource development and proactively prepare for any impact a proposed operation might have on an area.

Case Study:
A mining company owned a parcel of land for more than a decade. By 2005, residents in the area were largely unaware that the land was earmarked for future extraction. Courter Resource Group registered the site and opened the door to communication with the town on how best to manage the resource and potential impacts in the future.
