Resource Identification/Development
At Courter Resource Group, the backbone of our operation
lies in our resource identification capabilities.
Unlike our Materials Finder Service (where we evaluate a section you have identified), our Resource Identification and Development Service screens all sites in a particular region. We conduct confidential research, utilizing geology, topography,
transportation, and land use data in a particular market or geographic
region, to identify potential geologic resources.
When evaluating sites, we use these criteria:
- parcel size
- zoning
- transportation access
- distance from residential housing
- proximity to sensitive environmental corridors
Each measure is applied to a prospective source to zero in on commercial
grade prospects, identifying sites where extraction is feasible
and permitting possible. Subsurface investigations of material quantity
and quality are conducted to determine market value. This work is
held in strict confidence.
Since 2005, we have secured, identified and permitted more than 300 million tons of mineral resources. This work is held in strict confidence.
